Kopo Kopo

Integrate Kopo Kopo to accept M-Pesa payments through their merchant API for Kenyan ISPs.

You need a Kopo Kopo merchant account. Sign up at app.kopokopo.com.

Create a Kopo Kopo Application

Log in to your Kopo Kopo dashboard → Settings → API Settings. Create a new application and note down your credentials:

Client IDYour Kopo Kopo app ID
Client SecretYour Kopo Kopo app secret
API KeyFor authenticating STK push

Configure Your Till Number

In Kopo Kopo, ensure your Till Number is active and linked to your M-Pesa paybill. Kopo Kopo uses Buy Goods (Till) transactions for receiving payments.

Kopo Kopo requires a verified Till number before you can process live payments.

Enter Credentials in VillageHub

Admin Panel → Settings → Payment Integration. Select Kopo Kopo as your gateway and paste your Client ID, Client Secret, and API Key.

Set Your Webhook URL

Copy the callback URL from VillageHub and paste it in your Kopo Kopo app's webhook configuration:

Kopo Kopo connected!

M-Pesa payments via Kopo Kopo will now trigger automatic package activation for your subscribers.
